This week for Music Monday we’re listening to “No Hold On Me” by Matty Mullins. Matty is originally from the band Memphis May Fire which is a hard rock/metal band. This is completely different. It’s a more pop-rock type of song. He currently has two solo albums and is in the studio working on a third. The two existing albums (Matty Mullins (self-titled) and Unstoppable) are fantastic and I encourage everyone to listen. I love the song and am looking forward to his new album. The songs contain powerful lyrics of struggle and finding his way through this world. “No Hold On Me” is his freedom song.
